Our doors,
doorframes, louvers, thresholds and custom profiles are manufactured
by the Pultrusion Method, a machine process that pulls resin saturated
fibers continuously through a heated die.
This 'one piece'
manufacturing process produces door panels and other components which
are free of seams, metal fasteners or metal reinforcing plates. As
there are no side seams in our door panels, delamination is
impossible.
Door skins are
1/8" thick and consist of a combination of continuous strand and knit
mat. Top cap and bottom cap are pultruded FRP profiles, chemically
welded to the door panel structure and fully sealed.
Integral door
stiles are 9/16" thick solid fiberglass along both sides the entire
length of the panel making it possible to prep for butt hinges or a
continuous hinge at any location along the stile. The standard core of
our door is 3-pound-density closed cell urethane foam. |
